I have created an office 365 account to access online excel for my chromebook and have been able to download excel and open excel with no problem but everytme I try to create a spreadsheet or document on Excel it says 'Sorry we couldn't create your new document You can try again in a few minutes or go to One Drive for Business Now'. I went to my school's tech support and she suggested to go home and delete my account since I might be piggyback riding off of my friends account since we used the same link, yet I can't seem to delete my account and everytime I try to google how, the steps and options provided by google do not show up on my account. Please help I need Excel on my laptop by Wednesday.
Hi Megumi, Please note that, in Office 365, we need to go to the OneDrive for Business library once to set it up before we creating files using Office Online. And then the files we created will be stored in the OneDrive for Business library.
For your scenario, please set up the OneDrive for Business library first to check the outcome. To do that: Log into with your Office 365 work or school accountExpand the app launcher and click OneDrive icon to get into the OneDrive for Business library.(it would take a few minutes to set it up)After setting it up, you may create a new file in your OneDrive for Business library to if it could work. If so, try the Excel Online again. If that couldn't help, we'd like to collect your account information via the to if we could find any clues from the backend. Thanks, Felix.
